Each department in the firm used a different confirmation of instructions document and, in some cases, more than one depending upon the fee earner involved. Both the format and content differed, increasing the firm's risk of non-compliance and weakening their brand image.

client id/client/matter inception & conflict search forms

The firm’s compliance procedures require that Client Identification, Client/Matter Inception and Conflict Search forms are submitted in order to a) to authorise the setup of a new client/matter on the firm’s practice management system and b) to provide the necessary data to do so. These forms were completed by hand - a frustrating and time consuming process for all, particularly as some information was repeated in each form.

This well-established firm was re-branding - a new name, logo and a new look and feel to their documents. We re-designed document templates to reflect the new image and developed macros to convert existing document to the new formats.
