The firm’s compliance procedures require that Client Identification, Client/Matter Inception and Conflict Search forms are submitted in order to a) to authorise the setup of a new client/matter on the firm’s practice management system and b) to provide the necessary data to do so. These forms were completed by hand - a frustrating and time consuming process for all, particularly as some information was repeated in each form.
